Eufemia is an association established in January 2010, in Turin, Italy.

The main objectives of our organization are:

  • To encourage practices of active citizenship and participation.
  • To spread a culture of human rights, to facilitate mutual understanding, and to celebrate diversity in order to prevent and fight prejudice.
  • To promote activities based on non-formal education methodologies.
  • To organize activities for development of soft skills and their relevance for their personal and professional growth.
  • To promote European citizenship through meeting and understanding other cultures.

Today we are a team of 30 people focused on transforming the communities through innovative learning experiences.

Our work is directed towards lifelong learning, supporting young people and adult in needs, finding a better way to express themselves as active citizens.

In order to achieve that, we develop educational programs at the local and European level, based on five areas of expertise:

  • serious games
  • youth work
  • food pride
  • theatre for peace
  • digital media

Since 2018 we are working on “Escape4Change”, a series of educational escape rooms to reflect and to take action about socio-ecological threats we are facing in our today world: climate change, migration, circular economy and urban nature.

So far we developed five different escape rooms and hosted more than 2000 players from Italy and Europe. More are coming soon…
